01. White Corn

Scientific Name:

Zea Mays.

The white corn is a vegetable that comes from the corn plant. All the types of corn known today, including the sweet corn, were cultivated by the natives of the American continent before the European colonists came. There is a belief that the sweet corn was originated in North America as a mutation of the common corn cultivated in the fields. It is a great source of complex carbohydrates and fibers.
